Berserk:
Units with Berserk can make a special double attack one time: If it survives the first round of battle, it will attack again. This can only be used once, and gives the unit Reckless.

Berserk is a battle skill introduced in The Fall of Argenport.

After you attack with any units with Berserk, you have the option to select any on those units to make them go Berserk, or skip the selection (unselected units attack as normal). Berserked units have a different attack graphic to mark them. Any that survives their first attack immediately attack again. These units only receive the second attack once, and only on the turn you choose to go Berserk.

Strategy

Many use Berserk with small, aggressive units that can be disposed of easily. Since they retain this skill in the void, many use ways to bring them back out of the void to do their damage twice again. You have to have a easily disposed sentiment as after they've completed their berserk charge, they gain reckless and will have to attack every turn into opponent's defenses

Notes

On-attack triggers e.g. Worldbearer Behemoth will trigger on both attacks.

Blockers are declared separately for both attacks. Units that block during the first attack become exhausted and may not block Berserked units' second attack.

If the unit dies during it's first attack, it will cannot attack again.

For all intents and purposes, Berserk creates a second combat phase immediately after the first, in which only the units going Berserk attack.

Units which have gone Berserk (and now have Reckless) can be given Berserk again (e.g. with Sack the City). You may choose to have it attack twice the same as before, but note that it still must attack each turn from the Reckless skill it gained the first time it went Berserk. Berserk may also be reset, like other skills such as Killer, if the unit be replayed from the hand or void.

The Berserk keyword was first seen on the card Sack the City in Dire Wolf Digital's Chapter 19: The Fall of Argenport announcement.[1] Its details were later described in its mechanic reveal announcement.[2]
