Eager Deputy belongs to a loose cycle of common units with "Summon: Plunder" from Argent Depths. The cycle was designed to give each faction a cheap Plunder option for the early game and consists of Eager Deputy, Monk Innervator, Solemn Clergy, Shifting Illusion, and Towering Arachnid.
