Strategy

Permafrost should be used as a form of cheap removal. While it doesn't remove the unit entirely, it stops any unit without EnduranceEndurance:
Readies at the end of your turn, can't be stunned, and can't be exhausted except to pay costs. from attacking or blocking. It can effectively deal with annoying creatures like Dawnwalker, as it keeps them from recurring.

Units with EnduranceEndurance:
Readies at the end of your turn, can't be stunned, and can't be exhausted except to pay costs. cannot be targeted by Permafrost, as they are unaffected by StunStun:
Exhaust a unit. It doesn't ready on its owner's next turn. (Exhausted units can't attack or block). effects. If a unit gains Endurance, for example from Infinite Hourglass, Permafrost will be removed.

Permafrost is an attachment, and can be killed by cards like Furnace Mage and Passage of Eons.

When Permafrost is removed, the unit can attack and block immediately.
