Gauntlet is a Solo Battle game mode, in which the player uses a constructed deck to play against a series of computer-controlled opponents. Gauntlet mode is free to enter; runs may be joined an unlimited number of times.

Playing Gauntlet[]

Gauntlet is accessed under the "Solo Battle" section on the game's home screen. Starting a Gauntlet run prompts selection of a Throne format deck from the player's collection, then begins the first game of the run.

Each Gauntlet run consists of up to 7 games. A progress screen is displayed between each game in the run, showing the player's current rank, the option to edit the player's deck, and the run's games played, current run reward, and losses. The run ends either after 2 losses before Diamond rank, or 1 loss in Diamond and Masters.

Run progression is saved between games, so players may return at any point to resume their run's matches. Gauntlet runs may be resigned at any time, doing so immediately gives any earned rewards.

Opponents[]

The computer's AI opponents are selected from a variety of pre-designed decks with different themes and playstyles.

Difficulty[]

Each win and loss in Gauntlet mode adjusts the difficulty level of opponents. Difficulty is not affected by the player's rank, but it does carry over between runs until Gauntlet rank resets.

Run Rewards[]

Finished Gauntlet runs reward chests based on total wins:

Wins Reward
1 1 Wood Chest
2 2 Wood Chests
3 2 Wood Chests + 1 Bronze Chest
4 1 Wood Chest + 2 Bronze Chests
5 3 Bronze Chests
6 2 Bronze Chests + 1 Silver Chest
7 2 Silver Chests + 1 Rank Up Chest or Silver Chest*

* The reward for 7 wins depends on your rank. Before Master rank, beating the run's boss battle rewards 2 silver chests and a "Rank Up Reward" chest; after reaching Master it rewards 3 silver chests instead. Rank Up chests give 250 Gold icon gold and 1 pack of the most recent expansion.

Gauntlet Ranks[]

Beating run bosses raises a player's Gauntlet rank. Players begin unranked, then progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Masters ranks.

Reset[]

Gauntlet ranks are fully reset each time a new expansion set is released. This reset does not affect the status of any in-progress run.
