Gauntlet is a Solo Battle game mode, in which the player uses a constructed deck to play against a series of computer-controlled opponents. Gauntlet mode is free to enter; runs may be joined an unlimited number of times.

Playing Gauntlet[]

Gauntlet is accessed under the "Solo Battle" section on the game's home screen. Starting a Gauntlet run prompts selection of a Throne format deck from the player's collection, then begins the first game of the run.

Each Gauntlet run consists of up to 7 games. A progress screen is displayed between each game in the run, showing the player's current rank, the option to edit the player's deck, and the run's games played, current run reward, and losses. The run ends either after 2 losses before Diamond rank, or 1 loss in Diamond and Masters.

Run progression is saved between games, so players may return at any point to resume their run's matches. Gauntlet runs may be resigned at any time, doing so immediately gives any earned rewards.

Opponents[]

The computer's AI opponents are selected from a variety of pre-designed decks with different themes and playstyles.

The final match of each run is a "boss battle". Each Gauntlet boss has unique modifiers to the game's rules, and a deck designed to take advantage of them.
