that has become a center of conflict with the Freed rebels.

Champion of Glory

"Rakano's weapons are unmatched."

Rakano is the combination of the Fire icon Fire and Justice icon Justice factions.

Rakano was one of the five 2-faction alliances introduced in Eternal's first set, The Empty Throne.

Mechanics[]

Warcry[]

Warcry was the defining Rakano mechanic in The Empty Throne, and so was limited to Justice and Fire cards. It was expanded into Shadow icon Shadow with the release of The Dusk Road. Rakano still holds some of the best Warcry synergies such as Navani, Warsinger, as well as the card with the strongest Warcry by far, Icaria, the Liberator.

Weapons and Relic Weapons[]

Rakano is the most weapon-heavy of the 2-faction alliances. Justice's abilities to increase Armor icon armor, combined with the synergies of cards like Oni Quartermaster, Kemmo's Blueprints and Rise to the Challenge can contribute to powerful weapon-based decks. This faction also has some of the most powerful weapons, Deepforged Plate and Massive Greatsword.

Double Damage[]

The Double Damage battle skill is unique to Fire and Justice cards (with the exception of Prodigious Sorcery). In addition to the keyword, cards like Censari Brigand deal double damage conditionally (not as a battle skill).

Unit Types[]

Oni[]

Oni were largely restricted to Fire originally, but have since expanded into Justice as well. Rakano includes several cards with "Oni Matter" effects, such as Acclaimed Artisan and Ijin's Workshop.

Lore[]

Rakano is a settlement near Argenport, and a center of the rebellion following Rolant's taking of the throne. Warning: The following article is about Eternal's lore, it may contain spoilers for the story in the game's campaigns and/or the overall plot.
