Defiance was a set focused on five three-faction alliances: 
Jennev, 
Ixtun, 
Winchest, Kerendon, and Auralian. Faction pairs that appear in more than one of them received a lot of support, including a cycle of legendary sites: Ijin's Workshop, Howling Peak, Torgov's Trading Post, Xenan Temple, and Regent's Tomb.
