Separate Ways is available to be purchased from the in-game store through three bundles—the base bundle, and two levels of upgrades.

The Separate Ways Bundle costs 25,000 gold or 1000 gems (1100 costs US$9.99 through the in-game store). It includes four non-premium copies of each of its 25 cards, and a unique Sashenka, Bound premium avatar.

The Separate Ways Premium Bundle costs 2000. In addition to the base bundle's contents, it includes four premium copies of each card, and four premium and regular copies of the New Alternate-Art of Finest Hour. A purchased base bundle may be upgraded to the premium bundle for 1000.

The Separate Ways Legendary Bundle costs US$39.99. In addition to the Premium bundle's contents, it includes:

• 1 Premium Card Back;
• a box of Battle Lines (32 packs);
• 4 Premium Packs of Battle Lines;
• 1 Draft ticket;
• 500 gems.

Cards

Separate Ways's unique cards cannot be crafted, or destroyed for shiftstone. They are only available after purchasing the bundle. Unlike campaigns' mission-unlocked cards, these bundle cards are available for normal play immediately upon purchase.

Premium versions of each card may be crafted once unlocked, at the usual cost for its rarity, or purchased in the premium bundles.

The Battle Lines pre-order bundle featured a box of packs, new cosmetics, and more.

Pre-orders for Separate Ways were available starting on May 2, 2024. These included a bonus Draft ticket, plus immediate access to 3 cards from the bundle:

Preview Event

A preview event was held the weekend before Separate Ways's release. It was a Scion Draft where players opened 4 packs of curated cards pulls from Eternal‘s entire catalog history and draft a 45-card deck to battle with. These packs weren't limited to the standard distribution of rarity, drafters could find multiple legendaries, rares, and even promo cards in a single pack. This was a phantom draft, which means players did not keep any of the cards they'd drafted.

Players were able to enter as many times as they liked, but only the first 5 runs counted towards leaderboard standing. The Separate Ways Scion Preview Event ran from Friday, May 31st, 2024 10 AM MDT (16:00 UTC) to Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at 10:00 PM MDT (04:00 UTC). Each entry costed 4,000 gold or 300 gems.
