The Dusk Road is the third pack-based expansion for Eternal Card Game. It released December 17th, 2017 with more than 200 cards.[1]

Themes[]
The primary theme of The Dusk Road is Unit Type Matters - cards which benefit from playing many units of the same type. The Ally and Bond keywords introduced in this set both support decks built around specific unit types.
Several other cards supported this theme, including two cycles of spells:
- The Interventions Cycle of five single-factions spells which offer three choices. Each includes a choice related to a specific unit type.
- The cycle of five single-faction spells whose effects may be repeated by exhausting units of a specific type. These cards are: Inner Fire, Stirring Sand, Curfew Enforcement, Snow Pelting and Deadly Confrontation.
This theme was also highlighted in the preview event (see below).
Preview Event[]
The Dusk Road Preview event was announced on the Dire Wolf Digital website on December 12, 2017[2], and ran from December 14-17. Players would construct a deck, and then choose one of the following cards to have 4 copies added to their deck:
In addition, all Grenadin, Sentinels, Dinosaurs, Unseen, and Valkyrie cost 1 less. This encouraged decks built around a single unit type, with the above cards supporting this type.
