The End And The Beginning

The End And The Beginning is a free campaign. It becomes available after completing the main tutorial campaign The Empty Throne. Finishing it earns the Learn the Real Story achievement.

The End and the Beginning serves as a finale to the Scions storyline and an epilogue to The Empty Throne, showing the confrontation between Caiphus and the Strangers which resulted in his death.

Before the patch v1.35 tutorial re-design, The End And The Beginning was a 'hidden' epilogue section of Who Shall Rule? rather than its own separate campaign.

Campaign

Players take the role of Caiphus, using a campaign-specific deck in the sole playable mission of this campaign and drawing the initial cards in a pre-determined order.

The fight has two phases. First phase is quite straightforward. The second phase is about stalling until you draw Crystallize by timing your Lightning Storm. A solution out of many is: Play Throne Warden and block an attacker Play Lightning Storm. Optional: Kill the remaining Merciless Stranger with Stonescar Maul Survive by Deathstrike on Forsworn Stranger, Obliterate on Determined Stranger and Silence on Ruthless Stranger Crystallize Eternal Throne
