Whispers of the Throne is a purchasable bundle set, released March 30, 2020.[1] It introduced 21 unique collectible cards for normal play.
Xulta lies in darkness, saved by Sol’s dying gift to their children. But, even in defeat, the echo of Eremot’s evil purpose ripples outward…
Price[]
Whispers of the Throne may be purchased from the in-game store through three bundles—the base bundle, and two levels of upgrades.
The Whispers of the Throne Bundle costs 25,000 gold or 1000 gems (1100 gems costs US$9.99 through the in-game store). It includes four non-premium copies of each of its 21 cards, and a unique Kaspar premium avatar.
The Whispers of the Throne Premium Bundle costs 2000 gems. In addition to the base bundle's contents, it includes four premium copies of each card, and a unique Kaspar-themed premium cardback.
The Whispers of the Throne Legendary Bundle costs US$49.99. In addition to the Premium bundle's contents, it includes:
- 1 box of Echoes of Eternity
- 1 box of The Flame of Xulta
- 1 Draft ticket
- 4 premium alternate art copies of Worldbearer Behemoth
Cards[]
Whispers of the Throne's unique cards cannot be crafted, or destroyed for shiftstone. They are only available after purchasing the bundle. Unlike campaigns' mission-unlocked cards, these bundle cards are available for normal play immediately upon purchase.
Premium versions of each card may be crafted once unlocked, at the usual cost for its rarity, or purchased in the premium bundles.

Spoiler Season[]
Whispers of the Throne had a short spoiler season, being released less than a week after its announcement.[1]
Pre-order Bundles[]
The Legendary Bundle was available for pre-order several days before Whispers of the Throne's release. Pre-ordering the bundle gave an additional Draft Ticket, and unlocked several cards for use in constructed play before the set's full release.
Preview Event[]
A preview event was held the weekend before Whispers of the Throne's release. It featured five exclusive pre-constructed decks, each centered around a new Hero unit, previewing it and another card from the set.[2] The event could be entered any number of times, with each 7-game run costing 2,500 gold or 200 gems. Players used a different deck for their first five runs, then a random one after that (these decks were not added to player collections). Runs rewarded packs of Echoes of Eternity, cards, and chests, with additional rewards based on leaderboard position.
Achievements[]
Five in-game and platform achievements were added with Whispers of the Throne.
